Mr. Tipping has spent the vast majority of his professional
career working in the housing industry. His experience includes
24 years of service with the Jacksonville Housing Authority where
he served as the Deputy Director, managing and directing the planning,
development, construction, renovation, maintenance and inspection
of more than 4,000 public units. Responsibilities also included
oversight review of the Section 8 rental program that included management
and inspection of more than 6500 privately owned rental units.
Mr. Tipping is currently working as the Executive
Director of the AAA Home Inspection School, Inc., Jacksonville,
Florida, where he also teaches home inspection. In addition,
Mr. Tipping teaches construction classes and State of Florida approved
continuing education classes for licensed contractors, architects
and engineers.
In February 2003, Mr. Tipping formed St. Johns Construction, Inc.,
and is currently building custom homes.
Mr. Tipping is certified in residential and commercial home inspection
as well as mold inspection and remediation.
Mr. Tipping is certified by National Environmental in Mold Inspection
and Mold Remediation based on the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) Indoor Environmental Division 402-K-01-001 and the American
Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) guidance document “Bioaerosols”.
